NEW! Refrigerant Tracking

The new Refrigerant Tracking feature in Prism allows users to record liquid top-off values for refrigerant equipment through work orders, preventive maintenance tasks, and equipment-based inspections. Refrigerant Tracking eliminates manual tracking methods and centralizes critical data within your existing Prism workflow, improving both accuracy and accessibility.

Equipment with HVAC Asset Type will display a blue notification box prompting users to "Fill out Refrigerant Charge" and enter quantity values. When this equipment appears on work orders or maintenance tasks, vendors and engineers must indicate whether refrigerant top-off was required and document the amount used.

This streamlined process helps organizations:

  • Maintain compliance with environmental regulations
  • Track refrigerant leakage patterns across equipment
  • Identify potential equipment concerns or inefficiencies
  • Generate comprehensive usage reports

Updated vendor company permissions

We've enhanced permission controls for vendor company management by replacing the broad "Can Manage Vendor Companies" permission with four specific permissions:

  • Can Manage Vendor Manifest: View vendor manifests directly in the My Companies grid
  • Can Create Vendor Companies: Add new vendor companies to the system
  • Can Edit Vendor Companies: Modify existing vendor company information
  • Can Manage Vendor Property Associations: Control which properties vendors can access

This enhancement gives administrators more precise control over user access rights, allowing them to assign permissions that match specific job responsibilities without granting unnecessary access.

These permission changes will not affect vendors' existing Prism permissions or functionality - only how your internal administrators manage vendor company data.
