Enhanced notifications

We've added two new notification categories to help you stay informed about your inspections in real time.

  • Completion alerts: You'll now receive an instant notification when an assignee completes an inspection. The notification includes a PDF report so you can review results immediately.
  • Parameter violation alerts: When recorded measurements fall outside your defined parameters, you'll receive an immediate notification with the complete inspection report. This helps you quickly assess and respond to any issues.

When multiple readings fall outside your defined ranges during a single inspection, you'll now receive one consolidated email instead of multiple separate notifications.

Previously, each out-of-range reading triggered its own email, which could clutter your inbox. Now you get one email with one complete PDF report containing all the information you need. This keeps your inbox organized while ensuring you don't miss any critical details.

Holiday scheduling

Easily exclude holidays from your inspection schedules. When an inspection falls on a holiday, Prism will automatically reschedule it for you.

You no longer need to manually adjust inspections for dates when your facilities are closed or your team is unavailable. Prism handles the rescheduling automatically based on your holiday settings.

Take readings on inspections

You can now record measurement readings directly as part of your inspection process.

First, create your measurement definitions in the new "Measurement Definitions" tab within My Equipment. Set your measurement type and define your exception and allowable ranges, just like you would for a reading definition.

Then, when building your inspections, select "Measurements" as a question type. This prompts the person to complete the inspection to input the reading as part of their workflow.

All measurements taken during inspections are collected in the new "Measurements" tab on each equipment details page. This gives you a complete history of all readings in one convenient location.
